WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY PADRES?!?!?!?!?!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Something is seriously wrong here and I don’t like it! Okay, just to lost two games in a row to the Dodgers in of itself is not that bad of a thing. BUT it is when you only score ONE run in both of those games!!
And last night’s game was the stupidist thing I’ve seen all season. We scored no runs, were two-hit, but we allowed nine runs to the Dodgers!! NINE!!!!!!! How on earth did that happen?
I haven’t been able to look at the boxscores closely to see if there’s more than meets the eye here, and if my boys have an excuse, great. But they are seriously freaking me out here!! Those trades last week were supposed to boost our offense, not completely shut it down!!!
This scares me so bad because this is not my team. The San Diego Padres of 2010 do not score one or zero runs and lose two games in a row to the Dodgers. That’s just not how we roll. I don’t know what went wrong, and I may be overreacting, but when stuff like this happens, you’ve gotta throw up those warning signs and say, whoa, what happened here??
Okay, we’ve got game 4 tonight. Kevin Correia on the mound. We will win tonight and even up the series, which is not at all a bad way to leave. That’s the best you can hope for in a four-game series. Then we’ll go out to Arizona and take care of business there. We’ll be okay. We will.
The one bright spot coming out of last night’s game is that we still have our first-place lead. Thank you Lord.
Alright, boys, let’s get back on track. You are the First-Place Padres. You can do this. Keeping the faith…
GO FIRST-PLACE PADRES!!!
Kaybee: I was freaking out about my Yankees because they lost 3 games in a row. I vented about that on my blog, and they won yesterday! The suckish streak is over! And the Yankees are back in first (tied) in the AL East. Hopefully, since you vented, your Padres will win the next game. Come on…they are too good to go through a long bad stretch.

Kaybee,
What happened was the Padilla was pitching a heck of a game. He had a no-hitter going into the seventh. I thought finally I was going to see a a no-hitter in person.
